Love was born in Wiesbaden, Germany as her father was in the United States Army and stationed there. At age 7 they relocated to New Haven, Connecticut. She graduated from high school at age 16 and earned both a bachelors and a masters degree in accounting.

Love revealed on May 11, 2006 on the Howard Stern Show that while she was raised as a Catholic, she converted to Judaism later in life. She also stated that she is married and would like to have children in the near future.
